Ray Lackey was a true pizza pioneer accredited with being the first to bring pizza to residents of many North Carolina towns.  He wore many different hats during his life.  He was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, NC state senator, administrator of a local hospital, boss, president of Village Inn Pizza but most importantly -  he was our friend.
